Restaurant Table Sign Quantity Planner
Enter your tables, the signs each table carries, the reserved, entrance or service signs, and any spares. The Table Number Co planner multiplies and adds those figures into one total. Count every dining area and event layout before you start, because the planner knows nothing about your floor plan and adds no spares by itself.
Build your plan
Count separate dining areas and event layouts before entering the table total. Spares are an explicit input.
The decision behind a dining-room sign order
Count the layout you will actually operate, including terrace tables and movable stations. A table number, menu QR sign and reserved marker may share a style but serve different actions. If two messages occupy opposite faces of one piece, count the physical piece once and specify both artwork faces.
Keep with your brief: Table range, faces per sign, approved destination link and cleaning conditions.

(Tables or stations × physical signs per position) + other signs + spares
The result is 30 physical pieces, but they may require several artwork files. Keep a sign schedule describing the number, message and any QR destination for each type. A blank spare holder is useful only if its insert or message can be updated in the way you intend.
How many signs does a thirty-table restaurant need?
A restaurant has twenty-two tables indoors and eight on the terrace, thirty in all. The manager wants two pieces on each: one of the Custom Table Number Signs and a QR Code Menu Sign. She enters thirty tables and two signs per table, which gives sixty. Next come six Reserved Table Sign markers and one host stand sign, entered as seven service signs. She adds three spare table numbers for the tables that get knocked most. The planner shows seventy. Her note to Table Number Co breaks that down by product. Thirty numbers, thirty menu signs, six markers, one host sign and three spares are quoted as different lines.
Check these details before using the result
- Counting the room as it looks today
- Include terrace tables, bar high-tops and tables stored for events. The largest layout you run is the one to count.
- Counting two faces as two signs
- A table sign engraved on both sides is one sign. Enter it once and describe both faces in your list.
- Forgetting numbers you skip
- If you skip 13 or keep a block for the patio, the highest number is not the sign total. Count rows, not the top numeral.

Restaurant Table Number Set
Choose the function of each sign before ordering a matching set. A table number must be visible to staff, while a menu QR code needs a guest-facing position and a working destination you control.

Custom Table Number Signs
Check the numbers at the distance staff will read them, especially easily confused pairs such as 6 and 9. Choose a stable display format and list the exact sequence, including any intentionally skipped table numbers.

QR Code Menu Sign
Use a web address you control so menu updates do not require new signs. Test the supplied code at its proposed printed size on several phones, and include a readable alternative address where the layout allows.

Reserved Table Sign
Decide whether staff need a reusable reserved sign or one personalized for a special event. A fixed engraved guest name suits a keepsake; a changeable area is more practical for everyday reservations.

Staff Nameplate & Badge
Confirm preferred display names and choose whether roles need to be replaceable. For wearable badges, specify the attachment and uniform use; a counter nameplate requires a different format from a badge worn during service.

Should spare table numbers be blank or numbered?
It depends what they are for. A numbered spare replaces one specific table that tends to get damaged. A blank spare can cover a table added later, but it has to be engraved before use. The planner only adds the quantity you type, so note the purpose of each spare in your request.
How do I count signs for a private dining room that changes layout?
Count the largest layout the room is ever set to. If it runs as one long table on some nights and six rounds on others, you need signs for six. Enter that room as its own line in your list, and decide whether its numbers continue the main sequence or restart with a prefix.

All buying guidesChoose a Table Number Co host-stand sign by where guests first look and how the display will be supported. For worldwide orders, specify a countertop base, separate floor stand or wall mounting before choosing the face material. A sign face alone does not establish the footprint, height or hardware of the finished display.
Use the active table list for number signs and simultaneous use for reserved markers. Keep exact replacement numbers and two-sided objects clear in the count.

Build the order around what each sign asks a guest or staff member to do. Count table numbers, menu links, reservation markers and permanent identity signs separately. Approve the destination of every QR code and the language version used at each venue.
